It is a somewhat eclectic collection reflecting the author s personal interest in areas of photometry, photogrammetry, colorimetry. It covers functions such as image file reading and writing, filtering, segmentation, feature extraction, camera calibration, camera exterior orientation, display, color space conversion and blackbody radiators. The Toolbox, combined with MATLAB and a modern workstation computer, is a useful and convenient environment for investigation of machine vision algorithms. It is possible to use MEX files to interface with image acquisition hardware ranging from simple framegrabbers to Datacube servers.

This paper introduces an affine invariant of trapezia, and the explicit constraint equation between the intrinsic matrix of a camera and the similarity invariants of a trapezium are established using the affine invariant. By this constraint, the inner parameters, motion parameters of the cameras and the similarity invariants of trapezia can be linearly determined using some prior knowledge on the cameras or the trapezia. The proposed algorithms have wide applicability since parallel lines are not rare in many scenes. Experimental results validate the proposed approaches. This work presents a unifying framework based on the parallelism constraint, and the previous methods based on the parallelograms or the parallelepipeds can be integrated into this framework. An AHB system is made of masters slaves and interconnections. A general approach to include all possible "muxed" implementation of multi layered AHB systems and arbitrated AHB ones can be thought as an acyclic graph where every source node is a master, every destination node is a slave and every internal node is an arbiter there must be one and only one arc exiting a master and one or more entering a slave (single slave verus multi-slave or arbitrated slave) an arbiter can have as many input and output connections as needed. A bridge is a special node that collapses one or more slave nodes and a master node in a new "complex" node.

MPEG TS Utils application provides the user with a visual representation of the multiplexed stream structure of MPEG-2 Transport Streams (ISO/IEC 13818-1). The application allows the user to investigate the basic transport stream packets with their fields. The application also allows the user to manipulate with transport streams by filtering specified PIDs and exporting to file, demultiplexing to PES and ES streams, converting multi-program TS to single-program TS.

This paper investigates the design of joint frequency offset and carrier phase estimation of a multi-frequency time division multiple access (MF-TDMA) demodulator that is applied to a digital video broadcasting—return channel system via satellite (DVB-RCS). The proposed joint estimation algorithm is based on the interpolation technique for two correlation values in the frequency and phase domains. This simple interpolation technique can significantly improve frequency and phase resolution capabilities of the proposed technique without increasing the number of the correlation values. In addition, the overall block diagram of a digital communications receiver for DVB-RCS is presented, which was designed using the proposed estimation algorithms. Index Terms—Carrier phase estimation, DVB-RCS, frequency offset estimation, interpolation, joint estimation, MF-TDMA.
