本测试板（下文简称为LPC764板）是专门针对Philips公司的低功耗单片机P87LPC764而设计。除了标准80C51的功能外,P87LPC764还增加(或增强)了许多新功能，从而使LPC76X系列成为8位单片机市场上性能比较高的单片机。LPC764板可以把P87LPC764的新功能进行演示和测试，详细测试程序和说明请看第四部分内容。当然，P87LPC762、767、768、769的管脚与P87LPC764是“兼容”的，所以此板也可以进行P87LPC762、767、768、769的测试。LPC764板对MCU的20个引脚都是“开放的”，只要你把你所需要的引脚的通过对应的跳线（在J5中）短接到“EXT”侧，即可从“LK1”把此脚接到外面的应用板上，这样，板内的资源加上扩展的资源（外面的应用板）足可以用P87LPC76X实验51单片机的多种基本功能及P87LPC76X的种种新功能。

There a t least five Request for Enhancement s (RFE) in the JavaSoft bug database related to Mouse Wheel support in Java. One of the RFE s BugID #4202656 has 281 votes from developers requesting Sun for a fix.
