This manual describes Freescale’s IEEE™ 802.15.4 Standard compliant MAC/PHY software. The Freescale 802.15.4 MAC/PHY software is designed for use with the Freescale MC1319x and MC1320x, family of short range, low power, 2.4 GHz Industrial, Scientific, and Medical (ISM) band transceivers, designed for use with the HCS08 Family of MCUs. The MAC/PHY software also works with the MC1321x family of short range, low power, 2.4 GHz ISM band transceivers that incorporate a low power 2.4 GHz radio frequency transceiver and an 8-bit microcontroller into a single LGA package. Throughout this manual, the term transceiver refers to either the MC1319x, MC1320x, or the internal counterpart inside the MC1321x System in a Package (SiP).

The neuro-fuzzy software for identification and data analysis has been implemented in the MATLAB language ver. 4.2. The software trains a fuzzy architecture, inspired to Takagi-Sugeno approach, on the basis of a training set of N (single) output-(multi) input samples. This sample provides a generic example of a PCI IDE minidriver. The sample isolates vendor-specific code from the higher-level PCI IDE bus driver, much as SCSI minidrivers isolate code from the SCSI port driver. See the Release Notes section for more information. This sample works on both x86 and Alpha platforms, and is 64-bit compliant. It builds with Microsoft® Visual C® 6.0. It does not implement Plug and Play or Power Management.

Multirate filters provide a practical approach to designing and implementing finite response (FIR) filters with narrow spectral constraints. By changing the input data rate at one or more intermediate points the filter lengths and computational rates can be greatly reduced when compared to a standard single-rate filter implementation.
