This document represents the first stage in a process of taking the National Strategy for Police Information Systems (NSPIS) forward. It defines the mechanisms to ensure that we (and our partners) have access to the right information, in the right form, in the right time at an appropriate cost. The Strategy will ensure the Police Service has a collective understanding of the value of information and that we are able to exploit National Information Assets in support of local policing.

The Funambol J2ME Mail Client aims to be a light, easy to use, free email client for J2ME devices. The first release comes with a simple but effective UI, and a storage limited to the internal RMS only. This makes the application compatible with most of the phones around (minimum requirements are: MIDP2.0, CLDC 1.0, 512k of Storage). The mail synchronization using SyncML 1.2 over HTTP, thus removing any problem related to the access to IMAP or POP ports. The mail client synchonizes its address book with the one on the server, Its design is modular and can be extended in future with other mail protocols, a more sophisticated UI and access to the phone s AddressBook or filesystem for the devices allowing this. Scotia Airlines is a new budget airline operating between Glasgow Airport and the Western Isles. It operates two 24-seater light passenger aircraft and requires a flight booking system. Because Scotia offers low cost air travel, there is a need to treat each flight as single cost centre and to be able to ascertain, at any moment, the amount of the cash taken for that flight. Reservations and bookings cannot be made until the flight details have been finalised (flight number, departure and arrival airports). A seat on a flight is considered booked when payment as been received for it. When a reservation is confirmed (changed to booked), the passenger name is checked against the original reservation. SimpliciTI™ -1.0.3.exe for CC11xx and CC25xx SimpliciTI is a simple low-power RF network protocol aimed at small (<256) RF networks. Such networks typically contain battery operated devices which require long battery life, low data rate and low duty cycle and have a limited number of nodes talking directly to each other or through an access point or range extenders. Access point and range extenders are not required but provide extra functionality such as store and forward messages. With SimpliciTI the MCU resource requirements are minimal which results in the low system cost.
