Scotia Airlines is a new budget airline operating between Glasgow Airport and the Western Isles. It operates two 24-seater light passenger aircraft and requires a flight booking system. Because Scotia offers low cost air travel, there is a need to treat each flight as single cost centre and to be able to ascertain, at any moment, the amount of the cash taken for that flight. Reservations and bookings cannot be made until the flight details have been finalised (flight number, departure and arrival airports). A seat on a flight is considered booked when payment as been received for it. When a reservation is confirmed (changed to booked), the passenger name is checked against the original reservation. A flight can be in any of the following states: Available for bookings Checking in Boarding Closed

ExcpHook is an open source (see license.txt) Exception Monitor for Windows made by Gynvael Coldwind (of Team Vexillium). t uses a ring0 driver to hook KiExceptionDispatch procedure to detect the exceptions, and then shows information about the exception on stdout (using the ring3 part of the program ofc). The difference between this method, and the standard debug API method it that this method monitores all of XP processes, and the program does not have to attach to any other process to monitor it, hence it s harder to detect. The code currently is considered as ALPHA, and it has been reported to BSoD sometimes (on multi core/cpu machines). Take Care!

These listed libraries are written in WTL. But it s really hard to mix both MFC & WTL together. Obviously, it s not reasonable to ask a developer or a team to giving up MFC and move to the WTL world just because there were some great controls or visual Frameworks written in WTL (there are many things that should be considered especially in a company with hundreds of developers like the company I work for). Unfortunately, there was no such good and free visual Framework in MFC until now. The task of clustering Web sessions is to group Web sessions based on similarity and consists of maximizing the intra- group similarity while minimizing the inter-group similarity． The first and foremost question needed to be considered in clustering W b sessions is how to measure the similarity between Web sessions．However．there are many shortcomings in traditiona1 measurements．This paper introduces a new method for measuring similarities between Web pages that takes into account not only the URL but also the viewing time of the visited web page．Yhen we give a new method to measure the similarity of Web sessions using sequence alignment and the similarity of W eb page access in detail Experiments have proved that our method is valid and e币cient．

PRINCIPLE: The UVE algorithm detects and eliminates from a PLS model (including from 1 to A components) those variables that do not carry any relevant information to model Y. The criterion used to trace the un-informative variables is the reliability of the regression coefficients: c_j=mean(b_j)/std(b_j), obtained by jackknifing. The cutoff level, below which c_j is considered to be too small, indicating that the variable j should be removed, is estimated using a matrix of random variables.The predictive power of PLS models built on the retained variables only is evaluated over all 1-a dimensions =(yielding RMSECVnew).

The concept of the Altera Nios II embedded processor implementation inside Field Programmable Gate Array [FPGA] of the CCD camera for the “Pi of the Sky” experiment is presented. The digital board of the CCD camera, its most important components, current implementation of firmware [VHDL] inside the FPGA and the role of external 8051 microcontroller is briefly described. The main goal of the presented work is to get rid of the external microcontroller and to design new system with Nios II processor built inside FPGA chip. Constraints for implementing the design into the existing camera boards are discussed. New possibilities offered by a larger FPGA for next generation of cameras are considered.

This paper presents a novel technique to increase the quality of medical images based on Histogram Equalization. In the proposed method first we have applied a noise reduction method and then we apply some suitable preprocessing on histogram of the medical images and after that histogram equalization has been applied on the new histogram. Our proposed method in despite of its simplicity has better results in compare to other usual methods based on histogram equalization. The quality of resulted images after applying our proposed methods has been tested on a database (medical images) with a confirmed criterion by viewer. Also we have considered a mathematical criterion for comparing our proposed algorithm with other available methods for contrast enhancement. Results show the better efficiency of the proposed method.
