The Radio Interface Layer is the name for an interface that was developed especially for the Pocket PC Phone Edition. It is meant to abstract the interface with a phone/modem device. To achieve this it is closely modelled after the GSM AT command interface. Unfortunately the API was not published officially by Microsoft. Instead more high level API s were published that should be sufficient for developers. Again, unfortunately they are not sufficient. For example the API for receiving notification of incoming SMS messages is arranged for exclusively for one application per type of SMS. Apparently this will be improved upon in Pocket PC 2003. Another area is the availablity of a true AT command modem interface to interact with the GSM modem directly, which is also absent.

The PMSM FOC is made of several C modules, compatible with the free-of-charge IAR EWARM KickStart edition toolchain version 4.42. It is used to quickly evaluate both the MCU and the available tools. In addition, when used together with the STM32F103xx motor control starter kit (STM3210B-MCKIT) and PM motor, a motor can be made to run in a very short time. It also eliminates the need for time-consuming development of FOC and speed regulation algorithms by providing ready-to-use functions that let the user concentrate on the application layer. This LDPC software is intended as an introduction to LDPC codes computer based simulation. The pseudo-random irregular low density parity check matrix is based on Radford M. Neal’s programs collection, which can be found in [1]. While Neal’s collection is well documented, in my opinion, C source codes are still overwhelming, especially if you are not knowledgeable in C language. My software is written for MATLAB, which is more readable than C. You may also want to refer to another MATLAB based LDPC source codes in [2], which has different flavor of code-writing style (in fact Arun has error in his log-likelihood decoder).

This designs demonstrates how to use the Ethernet port using a Nios II system on the DE2 board. It sends packets, and using a loopback Ethernet cable, it ll receive the same packets which are then displayed. It also works if the board is connected to another packet source.
