The basic principle using the branchand- bound Strategy to solve the traveling salesperson optimization problem (TSP) consists of two parts. There is a way to split the solution space. There is a way to predict a lower bound for a class of solutions. There is also a way to find an upper bound of an optimal solution. If the lower bound of a solution exceeds this upper bound, this solution cannot be optimal. Thus, we should terminate the branching associated with this solution.

Traveling Salesperson Problem Our branch-and-Strategy splits a branch and bound solution into two groups: one group including a particular arc and the other excluding this arc. 1.Each splitting incurs a lower bound and we shall traverse the searching tree with the "lower" lower bound. 2.If a constant subtracted from any row or any column of the cost matrix, an optimal solution does not change.

Abstract: Most magnetic read head data sheets do not fully specify the frequency-dependent components andare often vague when specifying other key parameters. In some cases, the specifications of two very similarheads from two different manufacturers might be quite different in terms of parameters specified and omitted.The limitations in the data sheets make designing an optimum card reading system unnecessarily difficult andtime consuming. Abstract: The rapid build out of today's smart grid raises a number of security questions. In this article,we review two recent well-documented security breaches and a report of a security gap. These situationsinclude a 2009 smart-meter hack in Puerto Rico; a 2012 password discovery in grid distributionequipment; and insecure storage of a private key in distribution automation equipment. Abstract: While many questions still surround the creation and deployment of the smart grid, the need for a reliablecommunications infrastructure is indisputable. Developers of the IEEE 1901.2 standard identified difficult channel conditionscharacteristic of low-frequency powerline communications and implemented an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM)architecture using advanced modulation and channel-coding techniques. This Strategy helped to ensure a robust communicationsnetwork for the smart grid.
