Octane v1.01.20 The Open Compression Toolkit for C++ . The Open Compression Toolkit is a set of modular C++ classes and utilities for implementing and testing compression algorithms. Simple interface and skeleton code for creating new compression algorithms. Complete testing framework for validating and comparing new algorithms. Support for algorithms that use external dictionaries/headers. Utility classes and sample code for bitio, frequency counting, etc.

We often get questions about how the deflate() and inflate() functions should be used. Users wonder when they should provide more input, when they should use more output, what to do with a Z_BUF_ERROR, how to make sure the process terminates properly, and so on. So for those who have read zlib.h (a few times), and would like further edification, below is an annotated example in C of simple routines to compress and decompress from an input file to an output file using deflate() and inflate() respectively. The annotations are interspersed between lines of the code. So please read between the lines. We hope this helps explain some of the intricacies of zlib.

A .NET Path Finder Library Path Finder Library is a .NET library that currently contains one type called SimplePathFinder. SimplePathFinder is a very simple and basic implementation of the A* path finding algorithm. It is extremely easy to use and integrate in your applications. It works very well and I hope you enjoy using it. 这是一个用C#实现的路径搜索算法,实现的了简单的A*算法!

SQL Server developers and administrators are no strangers to Data Transformation Services (DTS) packages. They likely develop DTS packages to perform everything from simple database operations to data aggregation. As such, when they upgrade some or all of their servers to SQL Server 2005, they must decide what to do with all of their DTS packages

THE SYNTAX OF A PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE tells you what code it is possible to write—what the machine will understand. Style tells you what you ought to write— what the humans reading the code will understand. Code written with a consistent, simple style will be maintainable, robust, and contain fewer bugs. Code written with no regard to style will contain more bugs. It may simply be thrown away and rewritten rather than maintained.

A general technique for the recovery of signi cant image features is presented. The technique is based on the mean shift algorithm, a simple nonparametric pro- cedure for estimating density gradients. Drawbacks of the current methods (including robust clustering) are avoided. Feature space of any nature can be processed, and as an example, color image segmentation is dis- cussed. The segmentation is completely autonomous, only its class is chosen by the user. Thus, the same program can produce a high quality edge image, or pro- vide, by extracting all the signi cant colors, a prepro- cessor for content-based query systems. A 512 512 color image is analyzed in less than 10 seconds on a standard workstation. Gray level images are handled as color images having only the lightness coordinate

The purpose of this paper is to provide a practical introduction to the discrete Kalman filter. This introduction includes a description and some discussion of the basic discrete Kalman filter, a derivation, description and some discussion of the extended Kalman filter, and a relatively simple (tangible) example with real numbers & results.
