I was trying to develope a programme to make a slide show of all the pictures of a folder using vb.net. I have spent lot of time in net for searching this but all in vain, I didn t get a simple programme to solve the same and lastly I gave myself a try for the same and developed the code, I have used there a folderbrowserdialogue and a timer with a picture box control and in coding I have used IO name spaces to get the pathe and folder info here is the code. Basic function to locate and measure the positive peaks in a noisy data sets. Detects peaks by looking for downward zero-crossings in the smoothed third derivative that exceed SlopeThreshold and peak amplitudes that exceed AmpThreshold. Determines, position, height, and approximate width of each peak by least-squares curve-fitting the log of top part of the peak with a parabola.

This program incorporates the FV method for solving the Navier-Stokes equations using 2D, Cartesian grids and the staggered arrangement of variables. Variables are stored as 2D arrays. SIMPLE method is used for pressure calculation. UDS and CDS are implemented for the discretization of convective terms, CDS is used for the diffusive terms. The boundary conditions are set for the lid-driven cavity flow. Only steady flows are considered.
