B. Dantzig 提出求解线性规划的单纯形方法以来，线性规划在理论上趋向成熟，在实用中日益广泛与深入。特别是在计算机能处理成千上万个约束条件和决策变量的线性规划问题之后，线性规划的适用领域更为广泛了，已成为现代管理中经常采用的基本方法之一。 如果目标函数或约束条件中包含非线性函数，就称这种规划问题为非线性规划问题。一般说来，解非线性规划要比解线性规划问题困难得多。而且，也不象线性规划有单纯形法这一通用方法，非线性规划目前还没有适于各种问题的一般算法，各个方法都有自己特定的适用范围。 下面通过实例归纳出非线性规划数学模型的一般形式，介绍有关非线性规划的基本概念。

A series of .c and .m files which allow one to perform univariate and bivariate wavelet analysis of discrete time series. Noother wavelet package is necessary -- everything is contained in this archive. The C-code computes the DWT and maximal overlap DWT. MATLAB routines are then used to compute such quantities as the wavelet variance, covariance, correlation, cross-covariance and cross-correlation. Approximate confidence intervals are available for all quantities except the cross-covariance and cross-correlation. A set of commands is provided. This program compress and recostruct using wavelets. We can select level of decomposition(here maximum 4 levels are given) of images using selected wavelet. For eg:-wavelets can be haar, db1, db2,dmey............... Decomposition can be viewed in figure. (Please note that select 256X256 image for better result.) Then compression can performed, PERFL2 give compression score. Then reconstruction can be performed. Each decompsition we can choose different threshold values. For each threshold value we can calculate mse,psnr,pq(picture quality), bit ratio etc. To get pq install pqs function .

JLAB is a set of Matlab functions I have written or co-written over the past fifteen years for the purpose of analyzing data. It consists of four hundred m-files spanning thirty thousand lines of code. JLAB includes functions ranging in complexity from one-line aliases to high-level algorithms for certain specialized tasks. These have been collected together and made publicly available for you to use, modify, and --- subject to certain very reasonable constraints --- to redistribute. Some of the highlights are: a suite of functions for the rapid manipulation of multi-component, potentially multi-dimensional datasets a systematic way of dealing with datasets having components of non-uniform length tools for fine-tuning figures using compact, straightforward statements and specialized functions for spectral and time / frequency analysis, including advanced wavelet algorithms developed by myself and collaborators.
