A fast customizable function for locating and measuring the peaks in noisy time-series signals. Adjustable parameters allow discrimination of "real" signal peaks from noise and background. Determines the position, height, and width of each peak by least-squares curve-fitting.

All 3G and GSM specifications have a 3GPP specification number consisting of 4 or 5 digits. (e.g. 09.02 or 29.002). The first two digits define the series as listed in the table below. Metalog is a modern replacement for syslogd and klogd. The logged messages can be dispatched according to their facility, urgency, program name and/or Perl-compatible regular expressions. Log files can be automatically rotated when they exceed a certain size or age. External shell scripts (e.g., mail) can be launched when specific patterns are found. Metalog is easier to configure than syslogd and syslog-ng, accepts unlimited number of rules and has (switchable) memory bufferization for maximal performance.
