Atmel’s AT91SAM7FP105 is a low pincount FingerChip processor based on the 32-bit ARM RISC processor. It features a on-chip biometric engine performing enrollment verification and identification, an internal record cache of up to 25 records and a secure command protocol over USB, SPI, UART. This protocol enables an external host system or processor to control the onchip bioengine functions, manipulate the record cache, and securely export record cache records for external storage. Together with the FingerChip sensor DEVICE AT77C104B, it forms an embedded, secured biometric turnkey solution.

This is a simple GPS tracer developed for Window Mobile 2005/2003 on Compact Framework 2.0 SDK. So first of all, you need VisualStudio 2005 and Windows Mobile CE 5 SDK. You can develop it on emulator DEVICEs or on a real DEVICE. As you can see in that photo, I developed that application on a read DEVICE: the great Asus MyPal 636N.

a sample WDM stream class video capture driver that supports two IEEE 1394 digital cameras. The same driver may be able to support other digital cameras that conform to 1394-based Digital Camera Specification from 1394 Trade Association. Digital camera supported by dcam.sys is a data source that produces digital image data without any other input connection. It manifests itself in a DirectShow graph as a WDM Streaming Capture DEVICE and as a capture filter that has output capture stream supporting image sizes of 320x240 with a UYVY color space. Its de-compressor, Msyuv.dll, is part of the OS delivery, and it can convert image data format from UYVY to RGB16, RGB8, or to a Direct Draw surface if the video card supports UYVY format.

Realizing an MP3 player with the LPC2148, using libmad and EFSL This Application Note describes how to integrate the libmad MPEG 1/2 layer 3 library and the Embedded File System Library EFSL in a LPC2148 DEVICE to realize MP3 player. This program would work fine only with a specific flash tool through PC printer port under EPP mode.Program is capable of identifying flash chip manufacturer, DEVICE type, capacity,... It also allows user to dump flash data, edit/revise the content of flash chip on the Screen, and re-write them back to the chip.

The Inter IC bus or I2C bus is a simple bidirectional two wire bus designed primarily for general control and data transfer communication between ICs. Some of the features of the I2C bus are: • Two signal lines, a serial data line (SDA) and a serial clock line (SCL), and ground are required. A 12V supply line (500mA max.) for powering the peripherals often may be present. • Each DEVICE connected to the bus is software addressable by a unique address and simple master/ slave relationships exist at all times masters can operate as master-transmitters or as master-receivers. • The I2C bus is a true multi-master bus including collision detection and arbitration to prevent data corruption if two or more masters simultaneously initiate data transfer systems. • Serial, 8-bit oriented, bidirectional data transfers can be made at up to 100 KBit/s in the standard mode or up to 400 KBit/s in the fast mode.
