<P> 新华网洛杉矶３月７日专电（记者曹卫国）据美国尼尔森传媒调查公司的统计，当地时间５日落幕的第７８届<A href="http://www.xinhuanet.com/ent/oscar/78/" target=_blank>奥斯卡</A>颁奖典礼在全美吸引了３８８０万电视观众，人数比上年下降了８％，创下２００３年伊拉克战争爆发后颁奖典礼收视率的最低水平。
<P><!--ADV_CONTENT--> 对于收视率的下降，奥斯卡颁奖典礼的组织者并未感到失望。制片人吉尔伯特·凯茨说，由于本届奥斯卡奖获得最佳影片提名的五部影片都是小制作的严肃题材，票房收入更无法与<A href="http://news.xinhuanet.com/ent/2005-11/09/content_3755433.htm" target=_blank>《纳尼亚传奇》</A>、<A href="http://news.xinhuanet.com/ent/2005-11/09/content_3755174.htm" target=_blank>《金刚》</A>等大片同日而语，颁奖典礼收视率下降８％到１０％是意料之中的事。他说，据他估计角逐本届奥斯卡最佳影片的这五部电影在美国国内的总票房收入超不过２．５亿美元，而相比之下，《纳尼亚传奇》一部影片的票房就高达８亿美元，因此本届奥斯卡颁奖典礼受到电视观众冷落并不意外。
<P> 凯茨还表示，首次主持颁奖典礼的电视谐星乔恩·斯图尔特表现不错，为颁奖晚会的电视直播吸引了不少年轻观众。斯图尔特由于在电视上主持以搞笑方式述评当日新闻的深夜节目而受到年轻观众的欢迎。尼尔森公司的调查显示，观看本届奥斯卡颁奖典礼的１８岁至２４岁的观众人数上升了５％，这大概可以归功于斯图尔特的吸引力。
<P> 提名影片受观众欢迎的程度通常与颁奖典礼的电视收视率呈正比。自从１９７４年对颁奖典礼电视直播的收视率进行统计以来，电影《泰坦尼克号》囊括８项奥斯卡奖的１９９８年颁奖典礼是收视率最高的年份，全美观众人数达５５２５万。
<P> 本届奥斯卡颁奖晚会举办前，主办机构美国电影艺术与科学学院就曾预测，由于今年的被提名影片题材涉及种族冲突、同性恋、石油政治等，大多具有争议性，对主要以娱乐为目的走入影院的普通观众不会有太大的吸引力，奥斯卡颁奖典礼的收视率自然会因此受到影响。（完）</P>
