对ns2软件进行UMTS扩展

	Universal Mobile Telecommunication System - UMTS
****************************************************************************

This code has been delevoped to extend ns-2 Network Simulator in order to
support UMTS simulations. UMTS code has been contributed by Pablo Martin and
Paula Ballester, Strathclyde University of Glasgow, Scotland. The code has
been implemented for ns-2.1b9a-gcc32 version. This tarfile consists of:

1. doc - directory containing the documentation for the extensions.
2. code - directory containing our code - files we've added/modified.
3. examples - some sample scripts and outputs for various conditions. Also a
script .awk will be provided as an example for getting delays in the system.
4. umts_patch - a diff file taken against a clean version of ns-2.1b9a-gcc32.
5. install - installation file for the extensions.
6. this README file with instruction about how to install the extensions
and run some simulations.

How to install the extensions?
****************************************************************************

For installing the extensions, this tar file has to be descompressed in the
directory ns-allinone-2.1b9a/ns-2.1b9a/ so we have got a new directory called 
ns-umts-extensions. The installation can be done in two ways:

1. Automatically; We have to situate in path ns-allinone-2.1b9a/ns-2.1b9a/
and execute:

$ ./install

2. Manually: If the automatic installations does not work, we have to situate
in path ns-allinone-2.1b9a/ns-2.1b9a/ and follow the instructions:

1. $ ./manual. This will install the new files in ns directories.
2. Take all the files already done in ns from the directory 
/ns-umts-extensions/code/ and replace the original ones for these in their
appropriate directory.
3. Situate in path ns-allinone-2.1b9a/ns-2.1b9a/
4. $ ./configure
5. $ ./make
