qstat \- \*(Fx fax spool status display for efax
.SH SYNOPSIS
.B qstat
.SH DESCRIPTION
.B qstat
allows users to view a list of the faxes they've sent to the
fax spool via
.B qfax
or
.B qsend
; root can view all faxes in the spool, other users can only
see a list of their own faxes.

.SH "FAX ID PREFIX"
A fax is uniquely identified by its
.B prefix
, which is always of the form:

.B fax.<senderid>.<timestamp>

e.g. "fax.joe.07Sep165403".  This prefix can then be used to delete
the fax using
.B qdel
.

.SH DIAGNOSTICS
.B qstat
displays the following information about each spooled fax:

.B Prefix:
the fax's unique identifying prefix

.B Sender:
the sender's userid (root only)

.B Recipient:
the recipient's dialstring and name

.B Subject:
the subject of the fax

.B Queued:
the time the fax was added to the spool

.B Status:
the current status of the fax, which can be "waiting", or "last
attempted at <time> with result <result code>".  Here <result code>
is the value returned by
.B efax
(see

for more details).
