Introduction A shared library is a collection of functions that are available for use by one or more applications running on a system. On Windows operating systems, the library is compiled into a dynamic link library (.dll) file. At run-time, the library is loaded into memory and made accessible to all applications.

Scotia Airlines is a new budget airline operating between Glasgow Airport and the Western Isles. It operates two 24-seater light passenger aircraft and requires a flight booking system. Because Scotia offers low cost air travel, there is a need to treat each flight as single cost centre and to be able to ascertain, at any moment, the amount of the cash taken for that flight. Reservations and bookings cannot be made until the flight details have been finalised (flight number, departure and arrival airports). A seat on a flight is considered booked when payment as been received for it. When a reservation is confirmed (changed to booked), the passenger name is checked against the original reservation. A flight can be in any of the following states: Available for bookings Checking in Boarding Closed

For example: 8 = 3 + 5. Both 3 and 5 are odd prime numbers. 20 = 3 + 17 = 7 + 13. 42 = 5 + 37 = 11 + 31 = 13 + 29 = 19 + 23. Today it is still unproven whether the conjecture is right. EKF-SLAM Simulator This version of the simulator uses global variables for all large objects, such as the state covariance matrix. While bad programming practice, it is a necessary evil for MatLab efficiency, as MatLab has no facility to avoid gratuitous memory allocation and copying when passing (and modifying) variables between functions. With this concession, effort has been made to keep the code as clean and modular as possible.

JLAB is a set of Matlab functions I have written or co-written over the past fifteen years for the purpose of analyzing data. It consists of four hundred m-files spanning thirty thousand lines of code. JLAB includes functions ranging in complexity from one-line aliases to high-level algorithms for certain specialized tasks. These have been collected together and made publicly available for you to use, modify, and --- subject to certain very reasonable constraints --- to redistribute. Some of the highlights are: a suite of functions for the rapid manipulation of multi-component, potentially multi-dimensional datasets a systematic way of dealing with datasets having components of non-uniform length tools for fine-tuning figures using compact, straightforward statements and specialized functions for spectral and time / frequency analysis, including advanced wavelet algorithms developed by myself and collaborators.
