Toggle切换器是用来控制输入、输出的信号或者数据的，举例来说：有4台DVD作为信号源但是只有一个电视为显示设备，要怎么才能在4个DVD上选择信号输出到电视机呢？手动拔线，太麻烦了，这就需要用到一个AV4切1，将4台DVD都输入到AV切换器上，然后从AV切换器输出1路信号到电视，当需要看1号DVD时，直接在切换器上选择1，需要看2号DVD时则在切换器上选择2，以此类推。
