         Licensing and distribution of the libiconv library

I. LICENSING

This library was modified from libiconv and is subject to the GNU LIBRARY GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE.  See the file COPYING.LIB for details.


II. MODIFICATIONS BY NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS

This was modified from libiconv, version 1.8, on October 23, 2003 by Lars Roe, National Instruments.


III. TO OBTAIN SOURCE CODE

The source code including National Instruments' changes is available on the LabVIEW Real-Time installation CD in the "source" folder.

Since the libiconv library is loaded at run time, this file may be recompiled and linked without rebuilding any other work.  The library is installed on the host computer under the name "libiconv.dll".
