The cover page and hypertext cross-references allow to browseamong the guides.</LI><LI>Each page has the following interface:</LI><CENTER><IMG SRC="./icons/help.gif" ></CENTER> <OL><LI><I>Navigation buttons:</I> they provide for previous, next or up page navigation.Clicking the Up button brings you to the parent page in the document structure(e.g.: from <I>1.4.3</I> to <I>1.4</I>).</LI><BR>A dimmed button means you cannot navigate in its direction.<LI><I>Reference buttons:</I> they are links to the Table of Contents and Indexpages in each guide.</LI><BR>When the author of a guide did not create an Index, there is no button.<LI><A NAME="zoom"></A><I>Zoom buttons:</I> they allow to adjust the size ofimages displayed. Each image comes in three sizes: <I>18</I> - large, <I>14</I>- medium (default size), <I>10</I> - small.</LI><BR>In this documentation, mathematical expressions are displayed as images.In order to match text and image sizes, this document uses <A HREF="http://www.w3.org/">CSSstylesheets</A>.<LI><I>Textual links:</I> they are provided for text-mode Web browsers.
