Please goto <A href="539bp.html">make budget</A> to know more on how to make budget plan. And RealCIX is planning some analysing and plan functionalities in budget setting that will help you make better budget plan.</p> <p>Althoug there is a budget object designed and you can enter budget by main navigation index. But you assign register items to budget mainly through <A href="510r.html#assigntobudget">assign to budget of register edit</A> function.</p> <p><A name="budgetvaluesign">RealCIX consider all positive amounts of budget as revenue and negative amounts of budget as expense</A>. You can assign asset/liabilities ledger register items to budget as well. For register items of profit/loss ledgers, amount will be assigned using its value of subtract by zero. For register items of asset/liablities ledger, amount will be assigned as is. Hence, you own biggest convenience dealing with positive and negative. What you need to take care is just don't assign both a register item and its offset item to same budget. This will double your actual figures in budget calculation.</p> <p><img src="./image/540budgetentry.png"></img></p> <p>From here, you can choose context menu to enter budget maintenance functions. However, add a budget is consider a planning activity instead of budget maintenance. Please goto <A href="539bp.html">make budget</A> to know more on how to make budget plan.</p> <p><img src="./image/540budget.png"></img></p> <h2>Header of budget contains exactly 1 tab and an information area</h2> <p>Information area show you 3 figures. <b><i>Budget</i></b> is your plan amount. <b><i>Actual</i></b> is the actual amount you assigned already. <b><i>Remain</i></b> is the first one minus by 2nd one.</p> <p>Main tab</p> <ul type="CIRCLE"> <li>Combinantion of <b><i>Budget</i></b>, <b><i>budget user</i></b>, <b><i>budget month</i></b> identitfies a budget object. RealCIX suggest you to use <A href="110family.html#superuser">super user</A> name for shared family budget. It's good as well to use YYYY00 as a year period budget and 100000 as a project budget which spans a very long term of period.</li> <li><b><i>Local amount</i></b> and <b><i>local currency</i></b>specifies the target amount you plan for this budget object. Currently, RealCIX dones not support foreign currency budget.</li> </ul> <h2>Each budget item records which register item and how many amount are assigned to this budget object</h2> <p><img src="./image/540budgetitem.png"></img></p> <p>There is only 1 tab called register.</p> <ul type="CIRCLE"> <li>Combination of <b><i>register</b></i> and <b><i>register item</i></b> identified which register item are assigned to this budget object.</li> <li><b><i>Local amount</i></b> and <b><i>local currency</i></b> specified the amount relevant. It has a default value is taken from register item directly with a sign as explained at <A href="#budgetvaluesign">value sign of budget</A>. You can change local amount either here or <A href="510r.html#assigntobudget">assign to budget of register edit</A>.
