Many functionalities has been designed and strengthened so that you can trace where your tax from and what is the financial result of your tax activity.</h2> <p>You must setup tax department and tax type before you can post real tax document in system. Please goto <A href="290taxdep.html"><i><b>tax department setting</b></i></A> and <A href="300taxt.html"><i><b>tax type setting</b></i></A> for more detail how to setting up tax functionalities.</p> <p>Tax document include header and item information. At the main navigation index, click on <b><i></i>tax</b>. Right click on the object list in right result pane and you will get a context menu as below. </p> <p><img src="./image/530taxentry.png"></img></p> <p>You may then create/edit/delete tax documents.</p> <p><img src="./image/530tax.png"></p> <p>Attention to 2 buttons at the bottom of this window. <A name="taxregister"><b><i>Confirm and register</i></b></A> will save this tax document and generate a register document which is consider the financial result of this tax activity. Old register document(s) (1 or more, as tax document items in same tax document can be mapped to different register document item in different register documents.) will be deleted and a new register document will be created. Similar as correspondence document, exact 1 register document item will be generated for 1 tax document. RealCIX will use default ledger of expense ledger type to balance the generated register document.</p> <h2>Tax header</h2> <p>Main tab</p> <ul type="CIRCLE"><li>The combination of <b><i>Tax type</i></b> and <b><i>tax</i></b> identify a tax document in a RealCIX database. </li> <li><b><i>User</i></b> specified who is the person claiming tax.</li> <li><b><i>Tax date</i></b> can store your tax date information.It's nothing with when this tax document is created/changed. RealCIX will use value combining with currency of item to determin the exchange rate of generated register document item.</li> <li><b><i>Text</i></b> is the description of this tax document.</li> <li><b><i>Name space</i></b>, <b><i>partner</i></b>, and <b><i>partner account</i></b> are used to determine which ledger should be booked when this tax document generate register document. You can select only the partner account auto determined by RealCIX. RealCIX select tax department of the tax type of this tax document first. Then it select the partner account using the name space ('TAX') and partner of the tax department (Country of the tax department concated with '.' and tax department).</li> </ul> <p>Document tab</p> <ul type="CIRCLE"> <li>Document history information who, when create/last change this document. You don't and can't do any thing for these fields instead of knowing these information.</li> </ul> <h2>Tax item</h2> <p><img src="./image/530taxitem.png"></img></p> <p>Main tab</p> <ul type="CIRCLE"> <li><b><i>Tax item</i></b>number identifies an item in a tax document. Don't change it manually as it may link to other document.</li> <li><b><i>Currency</i></b> will be used as transaction currency when generate register document. RealCIX will use the combination of this field and the tax date fields in header to determine the exchange rate of generated register document item.</li> <li><b><i>Tax base amount 1</i></b> is the taxable amount you claim to tax department for this tax document.</li> <li><b><i>Tax base amount 2</i></b> can be used as parameter to calculate the amount you want to claim if use this field as a parameter in the formula of tax type of this document header. However, you can decide to let it not be used.</li> <li><b><i>Amount</i></b> is the tax payable amount you claim to tax department and RealCIX can calculate it according to the formular you defined in tax type master. Please goto <A href="#taxtrace">tax trace made easy</A> for more detail on how to trace where tax are from and <A href="#taxregister">tax register</A>on how to generate register document in 1 click.</li> <li><b><i>Text</i></b> is the description of this tax document item.</li> </ul> <h2><A name="taxtrace">Tax trace made easy</A></h2> <p><img src="./image/530taxtraceentry.png"></img></p><p>By context menu of <b><i>Taxable registers</i></b>, you can enter into the functionality of tax trace.</p> <p><img src="./image/530taxtrace.png"></img></p> <p>This window shows you which registers may apply tax on you and which ones may avoid tax on you. And it can simulate the calculation of this tax according to the formula you setup in the tax type master. Please goto <A href="300taxt.html">tax type setting</A> for more detail on how to define formula for tax type.</p> <p>Left table shows you all possible registers may have impact on your tax payable. The toggle button under it control all register items in taxable ledgers or not taxed register items in taxable ledgers to be displayed in this table. Please goto <A href="200ld.html">ledger setting</A> for how to make ledger tax setting.</p> <p>Right upper table shows you register items which you will claim tax payable and the right lower table shows you register items which you will claim tax payable return. After you select register items into these 2 tables, you click the button like calculator which will trigger the calculation simulation. The results are showed on the top of this window. The base abmount 1 is calcualted to that the sum of abosolute value of right upper table minus the sum of abosolute value of right lower table. The base amount 2 will be prompted for you to enter if it is needed in tax type formula. And the amount is the result of tax payable.</p> <p>Once you think you prepared all infromation here, just click the button of confirm. RealCIX will bring back you to tax document header edit window and populate all fields value of both header and item automatically. You can now goto <A href="#taxregister">tax register</A> to book this tax document and tax payable to register document in one step. Of course, you can cancel to discard all you have done for this tax document or confirm to save this tax document without generating register document.</p> </BODY>
