<h1>Installing the controlVR component</h1>
<p>You can use the Extension Manager to install controlVR.</p>
<H4>To verify installation of the Flash    MX2004 component:</H4>
<OL>
  <LI>Start Flash.   
  <LI>Select Window &gt; Development Panels &gt; Components to open the Components   panel if it isn't already open.   
  <LI>Select VR to expand the tree and view the installed components. </LI>
</OL>
<p>Any component can appear in the Components panel in Flash. Follow these steps   to install components on either a Windows or Macintosh computer.</p>
<H4>To verify installation of the Flash    8 component:</H4>
<OL>
  <LI>Start Flash.   
  <LI>Select Window &gt;  Components to open the Components   panel if it isn't already open.   
  <LI>Select VR to expand the tree and view the installed components. </LI>
</OL>
<p>Any component can appear in the Components panel in Flash. Follow these steps   to install components on either a Windows or Macintosh computer.</p>
<h4>To install component on a Windows-based or a Macintosh computer:</h4>
<ul>
  <li>Quit Flash</li>
  <li>Install the extension by doing one of the following:
    <UL>
      <LI>Select File &gt; Install Extension in the Macromedia Extension Manager.   
      <LI>Browse to the saved file  and   double-click the file&rsquo;s icon. </LI>
    </UL>
  </li>
  <li>Read the agreement and accept </li>
  <li>Close the Macromedia extension manager</li>
</ul>
