<td style="font-size:14px" align="left" class="til"><script src="/js1/300.js"></script><br /><p> SQL Server 2000 有两个实例数据库（Sample Databases pubs）：和Northwind。与系统数据库一样，实例数据库的文件也存储在Microsoft SQL Server （默认安装目录）的 MSSQL 子目录的Data 文件夹中。实例数据库所包含的文件如表6-2 所示：</p>

<p> pubs 和Northwind 数据库可以作为SQL Server 的学习工具，SQL Server Books Online 中的实例基本上都是基于这两个数据库来讲解的。其中pubs 实例数据库存储了一个虚构的图书出版公司的基本情况。Northwind 实例数据库包含了一个公司的销售数据。此公司名为Northwind 商人（Northwind Traders），是一个虚构的公司，从事食品的进出口业务。</p>
<p> 如果改变了实例数据库的内容或不小心删除了实例数据库，想将其回复到初始状态，可以用SQL Server Analyzer 运行“安装目录MSSQLInstall”中的Instpubs.sql 或Instnwnd.sql 程序来重建pubs 或Northwind 数据库。</p>
