preview facility within their file chooser dialogs. Previous to GTK+ 2.4, one needed to access the <a class="link" href="GtkFileSelection.html" title="GtkFileSelection"><span class="type">GtkFileSelection</span></a> widget hierarchy directly to hook in a preview widget.
