12月21日，张学良为“中国同泽书画研究院”题写了院名。<br />

1992年92岁<br />

7月12日，邓颖超在北京逝世。张学良得知后，委托张闾蘅向设在中南海西花厅的邓颖超灵堂敬献花篮。花篮的缎带上著：“邓大姐颖超千古张学良、赵一荻敬挽”。<br />

9月11日，张学良在台北北投寓所首次接受大陆记者采访。他说：“只要时机成熟，国家一定能统一，希望国共两党第三次谈判早日实现。”<br />

10月，张学良收到中国同泽书画研究院院长王盛烈教授题赠的“关东秋爽，故乡明月”字幅和几位著名画家合作的《青松梅鹤图》，赞赏晃已。他接受了担任中国同泽书画研究院名誉院长的聘书并留影。<br />

11月13日，张捷迁教授为东北大学复校奔波于海峡两岸。是日，张捷迁受托将东北大学的聘书送呈张学良。张欣然同意同任刚复校的东北大学名誉校长和名誉董事长。<br />

6月1日，在美国夏威夷异常兴奋地度过95岁寿辰。中国京剧院老生演员于魁智率该院琴师赵建华、鼓师苏广忠、旦角演员马小曼(京剧艺术大师马连良之女)飞抵夏威夷，祝贺张学良95岁寿辰，并赠送用中国京剧脸谱精心绘制的大幅“寿字图”。<br />

3月12日，张学良暨东北军史研究会会长张德良、副会长王维凡、秘书长周毅到夏威夷谒见张学良并合影留念。<br />

6月，夏威夷时间22日上午11点11分，陪伴张学良将军大半生，人称“赵四小姐”的张学良夫人赵一荻女士，因肺炎及并发症，逝世于檀香山史特劳比医院，享年88岁。张学良遽然痛失老伴十分伤痛，沉默不语地坐在轮椅上，泪水缓缓流下来。<br />

10月14日，张学良将军因病抢救无效在美国夏威夷逝世，享年一百〇一岁。<br />
