Rule:--Sid:3666--Summary:This event is generated when an attempt is made to exploit avulnerability associated with the processing of MySQL authentication. --Impact:A successful attack may allow an unauthorized user access, cause a denial of service or buffer overflow with the subsequent execution ofarbitrary code.--Detailed Information:There are two vulnerabilities associated with MySQL password authentication. The first vulnerability may permit an unauthorizeduser access to the server if an attacker knows an authorized user nameand crafts a malicious client password hash.
