This should compile anywhere, but on solaris you need to add -lsocket to
the make script.  Also, host must be in your path, and showmount must be
in /usr/sbin.  For some reason execlp() makes kill() hit the parent
process in slackware but not redhat ... sooooooo @&!*!~@*&@& hehe
