<a name='company_info'><h4>About HKMP, Inc.</h4></a>
<p>HKMP, Inc., was founded in January 2003 as a branch of Systems Design,
Inc. This new group was chartered by Systems Design's president, Mr.
Michael Geary, as an educational branch of its mother group. NeTesT is
the first undertaking of this new group. HKMP is comprised of four
members: Ben Hale, Aaron Kendall, Philip Musgrave, and Brad Pierce.</p>

<a name='netest_info'><h4>NeTesT Info.</h4></a>
<p>NeTesT is an online program that allows teachers to create online tests
for students. Students then can take the test and have it graded
immediately. Teachers are also able to check students grades on tests.
NeTesT is the solution for pencil and paper tests. Now everything a
teacher needs for testing purposes can be done electronically.</p>

<a name='using_netest'><h4>Basic NeTesT Usage</h4></a>
NeTesT allows three different types of access to the online program.
The first of these is Administrator. The Administrator account is allowed
full access to every part of NeTesT. The Administrator must be trained
by a NeTesT professional on the many different abilities of NeTesT.<br>
Next, NeTesT has teacher accounts. When a teacher logs into NeTesT, the
teacher will be given three options. The teacher can choose to create a
new test, edit an existing test, or view student grades for the tests that
teacher has created.<br>
Finally, NeTesT has student accounts. Students have two options upon
logging into the system. First, they can take a test, but only tests
for classes that the student is registered for. Secondly, students can
view their grades for the tests that they have taken.</p>

<a name='login_help'><h4>Login Help</h4></a>
<p><strong>Why can't I login?<br><br>
Do you have the correct login page?<br><br></strong>
If you have chosen the teacher login page and you are a student, you
will not be able to login to the teacher page. Try pushing the back button
on your browser twice from this page and select the correct login link. This
also applies to teachers trying to login to the student area and both teachers
and students trying to login to the administrator area.<br><br>
<strong>Are you typing your information correctly?<br><br></strong>
If you know that you have chosen the correct login page, be sure that
your login information is correct. Press the Back button on your browser
and retype your user name and your password to be sure that you did not
mistype something. (Note: Remember that passwords are case-sensitive, so
be sure the CapsLock key is on or not on, whichever applies to your password.)<br><br>
<strong>I've tried both and still can't login.<br><br></strong>
If you have tried both of these things and you are still unable to logon,
your administrator may have not added your account yet, disable your account,
or is in the process of modifying things in the NeTesT database. Please shut
down NeTesT and try again later. Users are not allowed access while the
administrator is working on the database.<br>
Any further problems need to be directed to your NeTesT administrator, and
he/she will be able to fix your problems or will be able to call NeTesT
technical support.<br>

<a name='teacher_home'><h4>Teacher Home</h4></a>
<p>The teacher home page is starting point for any task that you may need to do.
You can choose to create a new test, view or modify an existing test, or check
on your student's grades.<br>
The menu on the left allows you to quickly access all of your choices. When you
are finished, just log out!</p>

<a name='teacher_setup_test'><h4>Teacher Create Test Step #1</h4></a>
<p>First, select a class for which you would like to create a test. Then, give the
test a name and fill in the number of each question that you would like on the test.<br>
<b>Keep in mind</b>: You must give the test a name, and you must have at least one question
to create a test.<br>
You will be notified of any errors that you may have made.</p>

<a name='teacher_create_test'><h4>Teacher Create Test Step #2</h4></a>
<p>You must fill in a question and at least one answer for all of the questions that you have
created. If you do not fill out all the boxes, you cannot create the test.<br>
<b>Note</b>: You may have only one choice for multiple choice questions, and test instructions
are not required to create a test.<br>
Netest will inform you of any boxes left empty.</p>

<a name='teacher_submit_test'><h4>Teacher Submit Test</h4></a>
<p>At this point, the test has been submitted and is ready to be taken by the students. If there
were errors, you must hit the back button on your browser to correct these errors. Then, the
test can be submitted.<br>
From this page you can edit this test, edit another test, or return to your home page.<br>
<b>Note</b>: If you get a message stating that you cannot resubmit the test, you have either
backed up and resubmitted the page or you have refreshed the page. If you need to edit the test
for errors, please go to the view/modify section of Netest.</p>
<hr><br>
<a name='inst_view_modify'><h4>View/Modify Test Step #1</h4></a>
<p>Select a class for which you would like to view or modify a test. A drop-down list will then be
displayed and you will be asked to select the test you want to view or modify. If there are no
tests for that class, you will be notified.</p>

<a name='inst_choose_test_modifications'><h4>View/Modify Test Step #2</h4></a>
<p>The test that you chose is now displayed for you. If you would like to make any changes to the
test, you can scroll to the bottom of the page. You will find a table with options to add
questions, delete questions, or update questions. Enter the number (and number of choices for
multiple choice) of each type of question to add or select the questions to delete or update.
When selecting questions to delete or update, click and drag the mouse to select multiple questions
in a row, or hold down the control [ctrl] key while you click to select any other questions.</p>

<a name='inst_create_test_additions'><h4>Add Test Questions</h4></a>
<p>The number of test questions and the question types are displayed for you on this page. You
should enter the new questions and answers in their proper places. Once you are finished filling
in the form, hit the submit button and the new questions will be added to the test.<br>
If you have made any mistakes in filling out the form on the previous page, you will be notified.
Simply click the back button on your browser to correct the mistakes that you have made. Once you
have made the corrections, the new questions will be added to your test.</p>
