eTorch v0.1
===========

Introduction
------------

eTorch is simply a program which allows you to use your Motorola E680i as a torch, aka flashlight. When the lights go out in the middle of the night, now you can find your way around your house using your mobile phone. eTorch is a free implementation of Ashley Montanaro's Torch program for Symbian OS.

Usage
-----

To use this program, simply install it on your E680i and run it. A blank white screen will be displayed. The light from this can be used as a torch. When running eTorch, the backlight will stay on permanently; there is no need to press any keys to keep it on. To exit the program, press the "Volume Up" button.

Notes
-----

1. Thanks to Everaldo.com Design Studio for the Crystal SVG ktip icon, modified it for this version of eTorch.
2. You can change the colour of the light using the joystick.
3. Leaving the backlight on for long periods of time can drain the battery. eTorch should be used sparingly.
