<h2>Running SMIL Presentations in IE</h2>
<p>With Internet Explorer 5.5 or later, SMIL elements can be inserted into HTML
files.</p>
<p>This way any SMIL presentation can run over the Internet as standard HTML
files.</p>

<h2>Adding References</h2>
<p>To use SMIL elements in HTML you must define a "time" namespace for
Internet Explorer to recognize the elements. This is done by:</p>
<ul type="square">
<li>Adding a namespace definition to the <html> tag.</li>
<li>Adding an <?import> element to import the "time" namespace.</li>
</ul>
<p>To add SMIL attributes to standard HTML elements you must define a "time" class
for Internet Explorer to recognize the attributes. This is done by:</p>

<li>Adding a <style> element to define the class "time".</li>
</ul>

<p>To run a SMIL presentation in HTML, just add a prefix and a class attribute to
the SMIL elements:</p>
