Subject: [Acis-alliance] Question about "Debug Assertion Failed"

Hi, all,

I got a problem of "Debug Assertion Failed" recently. Every time when I close
my application, an error message (please see the attached picture) shows up,
only if I have opened an ACIS document and done something to it. 

I have no idea what I have done to invite it. My application works fine except
this problem.

I am not an ACIS-kernel user, I just have a problems with 105 version of sat-file in some CAD software. All problems come to naught in case of using later versions, e.g. 106. So, is it possible to find some free translator from first versions of sat to a newer one? Thanks.

I am new on ACIS and this list too.
I am trying to write a code that will create some geometrical entities 
in visual C++
Unfortunately I could not find any tutorials to establish the main code, 
to integrate C++ ,ACIS and Hoops.
Can anyone help me about this? How should I write the main code in order 
to at least make C++ and ACIS
work together. Your helps will be highly appreciated. It's ok if you 
send an example source code
with clear comments in it

You cann't just insert their files into your project.
You must look at thier project settings. Some directives and pathes are
critically important.
Furthermore, you need to set some system variables on your machine,
depending if you need ACIS to be linked staticly or  dynamically.

You have an error on the linking stage.
Either you didn't include ACIS .lib files to the list of files to link
(static linking), or you didn't set "arch_release" system variable  to
"nt_dll" (dynamic linking).
I don have a skeleton file, futhermore I run ACIS in .NET environment
(http://pentities.atspace.com/acis_dotnet/acis_dotnet.htm) but I all of this
will be worthless for you if your machines is not set properly.
