Hi,
   I am interested to use acis with C# Does anybody know how to 
accomplish this? I know that some interfaces in C# are required but 
where can I find them?

   By the way, I am using ACIS 15 SP3 with HOOPS 12.06.

Subject: [Acis-alliance] Problem with HOOPS 12.20

Hi,
  I am facing trouble with HOOPS 12.20 and ACIS 15 SP3. When I try to 
open a file using the skeleton app generated by HOOPS wizard it crashes. 
I switched back to 12.06 after it. I am using Visual Studio .NET 2003.

The basic idea is that you must create some Managed C++ project, and provide
ACIS wrapper classes there.
You can link ACIS directly to this MC++ project and get access to that
warpper callses directly from the C#.
Furthermore, you can declare some interfaces on the C# side and implemented
them on the MC++ side.

    I coded the skeleton and got the idea. Thanks for it. But has 
anybody completed the wrapper already? Cause I don't want to reinvent 
the wheel. Also manipulating ACIS is only a small part of my research.

I actually did it  for my purposes. But, man, complete solution costs money.
ACIS is very very narrow segment of market, and nobody is willing to do it for free.

We want to get entity information from a sat file for reusage. For example,
we want to extract a particular entity and get its information as another
sat file. The main purpose is to get existing entities for reuse. Please

hi,

 this is main concerning api_restore_entity_list and api_save_entity_list. 
About the usage for this two functions, 
you can get further information through the help docs for ACIS.

 For the particular entity, you have to identify it through certain 
criteria, it depends on your specific case.

The restoring and saving process are taking use of "ENTITY_LIST" and the 
entities in the list should bare BODY level hierarchy to be saved. For 
instance, you can not save a FACE directly, alternatively, you can save a 
BODY consisting of only one face through the usage of "api_mk_by_faces".

I am trying to run the following code snippet but pSweepResult is always 
NULL. I do api_initialize_sweeping() and so forth before. Anybody knows

Subject: [Acis-alliance] gi/glhusk crashes on Nvidia Quadro GO boards

Dear Acis friends,

we are using ACIS 13SP8 with the now abandoned GI/GLHUSK for rendering
purpose.
With the NVIDIA mobile GPU FX1400GO on DELL laptops our application
crashes i.e. stops responing to user input.
The only possibility to circumvent this problem is to deactivate
hardware accelleration in the driver settings.
But this solution isn't really satisfying ;-)

Does anybody also has this problem and knows an appropriate solution?
