Do not use the using-directive 'using namespace std'. If you have that anywhere in your code, delete it. (Then you may need to add equivalent using-declarations.) 2. Do not use the using-declaration 'using std::vector'. It fatally conflicts with ACIS vector. Solution: Don't import the STL std::vector into the global namespace. Just leave it in the std namespace, and specify std:: whenevr you useit. Better solution: Use typedefs. 3.a) For every type T you want to use with std::vector, write a few typedefs: typedef std::vector<int> int_V; typedef int_V::iterator int_VI; typedef int_V::const_iterator int_VCI; And so on. Then these typedefs are much easier to use than typing std::vector<> everywhere.--Eric WangCAD Lab, Sungkyunkwan University_______________________________________________Acis-alliance mailing listAcis-alliance@cs.columbia.eduhttp://lists.cs.columbia.edu/mailman/listinfo/acis-allianceFrom muthler at bv.tum.de Wed Nov 12 18:43:38 2003From: muthler at bv.tum.de (Alexander Muthler)Date: Wed Nov 12 12:43:46 2003Subject: [Acis-alliance] How to obtain a pcurve?Message-ID: <002a01c3a944$811da5e0$a22cbb81@inf.bauwesen.tumuenchen.de>Dear ACIS-Alliance,when I project a curve to a surface via theapi_project_curve_to_surface(...) function, the returned curve has nopcurve.Does anybody know, how to compute resp. add the pcurve to the curve orcoedge?Your help would be appreciated.Best Regards,AlexFrom harip at formz.com Wed Nov 12 13:05:36 2003From: harip at formz.com (Harigopal Polisetty)Date: Wed Nov 12 13:05:55 2003Subject: [Acis-alliance] How to obtain a pcurve?In-Reply-To: <002a01c3a944$811da5e0$a22cbb81@inf.bauwesen.tumuenchen.de>Message-ID: <l03130300bbd8265d2506@[192.168.1.111]>Alex,sg_add_pcurve_to_coedge(COEDGE*) does it.HariAt 12:43 PM -0500 11/12/03, Alexander Muthler wrote:>Dear ACIS-Alliance,>>when I project a curve to a surface via the>api_project_curve_to_surface(...) function, the returned curve has no>pcurve.>Does anybody know, how to compute resp. add the pcurve to the curve or>coedge?>>Your help would be appreciated.>>Best Regards,>Alex>>_______________________________________________>Acis-alliance mailing list>Acis-alliance@cs.columbia.edu>http://lists.cs.columbia.edu/mailman/listinfo/acis-allianceFrom manoj_acis at yahoo.com Wed Nov 12 17:56:42 2003From: manoj_acis at yahoo.com (manoj j)Date: Wed Nov 12 20:56:49 2003Subject: [Acis-alliance] URGENT: How to display "bs3_surface" in VC++. The ACIS topology entities (BODY, LUMP, SHELL, FACE, LOOP,COEDGE, EDGE, VERTEX) are used to define solids. Underlying FACE, we findSURFACE, and under SURFACE we find surface, of which bs3_surface is asubtype. If you want to draw using builtin routines, you need to build a FACE, maybe even a BODY containing a LUMP, containing aSHELL, containing a FACE. The face will have a SURFACE which has yourbs3_surface, and will require a LOOP, which consists of a ring of COEDGES,each of which has an EDGE, and adjacent EDGES in the ring of coedges shareVERTEX entities. THe EDGEs will have to have CURVEs, which correspond tothe edges of your bs3_surface, and the VERTEXs will have APOINTS, whosecoordinates are the same as the corners of your bs3_surface. I leave it to you to find the functions to construct the topology. Thereare a number of such functions, and which are appropriate depends on whatyou are doing. I personally find that direct construction isn't a bad wayto go, but there are a lot of api functions that result in shorter code thatyou might understand better. A different approach is to find an api function that constructs the surfaceyou need within the context of a FACE or a BODY. Again, it's yours tosearch the documentation. The idea is that I search some positions under the mouse cursor (endpoints, midpoints, nearest positions to an edge etc.). When I found the required position I display a tool tip (Endpoint, Midpoint, Nearest) and figure just like in AutoCAD (some small rectangles, triangles in yellow color etc). The figures are displayed with DL_point, DL_polyline). Below is a small code for displaying a point: set_point_size(8); api_gi_set_highlight_rgb(rgb_color(1,1,0));//Set the highlight color to yellow DL_point point(pos);//Create the point //point.highlight(ActualCDC(), TRUE);//Create the point with highlight point.execute(ActualCDC(), rgb_color(1,1,0), TRUE);//Or create it directlyWhereCSomeView* ActualView()
