Introduction</a></i></h2></font><dl class="margin"><dl class="margin"><dd><p class="Body"><a name="84231" class="autotag"> </a>Tornado 2.0 includes PCMCIA for x86, which includes support for the <b class="file">pc386</b>, <b class="file">ns486</b>, <b class="file">pc486</b>, <b class="file">pcPentium</b>, and <b class="file">pcPentiumpro</b> BSPs and new PCMCIA drivers which allow VxWorks running on these targets to support PCMCIA hardware.</p><dd><p class="Body"><a name="84232" class="autotag"> </a>The PCMCIA libraries and drivers are also available in source code form for VxWorks systems based on CPU architectures other than the Intel x86.</p><dd><p class="Body"><a name="84233" class="autotag"> </a>PCMCIA support is at the PCMCIA Release 2.1 level. It does not include socket services or card services, which are not required by VxWorks.
