First, <b class="command">setup</b> looks for the environment variable <b>WIND_BASE</b>, the Tornado root directory. If <b>WIND_BASE</b> is not set, the <b class="command">setup</b> program aborts. You must already have a Tornado tree installed to successfully install WindNet STREAMS for Tornado.</div><br><div class="Indent"><a name="95250" class="autotag"> </a>After locating <b>WIND_BASE</b>, the <b class="command">setup</b> program displays a series of dialog boxes. Each <b class="command">setup</b> dialog box has a <b class="guiLabel"><font face="Helvetica, sans-serif" size="-1" class="sans">Cancel</font></b> button you can use to quit the installation process. To continue after filling out a dialog box, click <b class="guiLabel"><font face="Helvetica, sans-serif" size="-1" class="sans">Next</font></b> or press <kbd>ENTER</kbd>. To return to a previous dialog box, click the <b class="guiLabel"><font face="Helvetica, sans-serif" size="-1" class="sans">Back</font></b> button. </div><br><div class="Indent"><a name="95251" class="autotag"> </a>The <b class="command">setup</b> program first displays the <b class="guiLabel"><font face="Helvetica, sans-serif" size="-1" class="sans">Welcome</font></b> dialog box. If there are other applications running, click <b class="guiLabel"><font face="Helvetica, sans-serif" size="-1" class="sans">Cancel</font></b> to quit <b class="command">setup</b>. This component release must be installed in a Tornado tree. </div><br><div class="Indent"><a name="95254" class="autotag"> </a>The <b class="guiLabel"><font face="Helvetica, sans-serif" size="-1" class="sans">Choose Destination Location</font></b> dialog box should be on your screen. The default installation directory displayed in the dialog box is the one where WindNet STREAMS should be installed. You can click the <b class="guiLabel"><font face="Helvetica, sans-serif" size="-1" class="sans">Browse</font></b> button to find and specify another installation directory. You can also click <b class="guiLabel"><font face="Helvetica, sans-serif" size="-1" class="sans">Cancel</font></b> to stop the installation. Click <b class="guiLabel"><font face="Helvetica, sans-serif" size="-1" class="sans">Next</font></b> to proceed with installation. </div><br><div class="Indent"><a name="95255" class="autotag"> </a>The <b class="command">setup</b> program backs up any existing files in the destination directory whose names conflict with those of files to be downloaded from the WindNet STREAMS CD-ROM. The program also logs each setup activity in a file, <b class="file">setup.log</b>, located in the Tornado root directory, for example, <b class="file">c:\tornado</b>.
