If you're new, ensure you read the documentation before using Owns.

This is a beta Release Version.
Should you have any problems, direct it at the forums on the Web Site



1) WinpCap
============
You should download and install WinpCap 2.1 or newer before using Owns.
You can find WinpCap at the following URL : http://netgroup-serv.polito.it/winpcap/ 

You can also use seh sniffer if you are under 95,98 or Me but seh sniffer is not as good
as WinpCap.

2) Cyberstream DVB card
=============================
If you own such a card, see cyberstream/readme.txt file.

3) Pinnacle DVB card
==============
If you own such a card, see doc/pinnacle/SatSniffer 1.3.html

4) seh sniffer
==============
I recompiled packet32.dll from the sources (you can find them at : http://widecomm.korea.ac.kr/~seh/)
because AVP reported that packet32.dll was infected with sub-seven trojan.
I don't know if it is true but this is not a problem anymore.

an extract of man tcpdump manpage is included in doc directory.
It can help you to build correct BPF expressions.
