Ch LibXML2 Package for libxml2 XML C parser and toolkit is 
the Ch binding to libxml2 libary .  Ch LibXML2 Package for 
libxml2 enables all functions in the libxml2 library for 
use in Ch.  With Ch LibXML2 Package, these functions can 
run in Ch interpretively without compilation. Ch LibXML2
Package allows XML parser syntax and semantics to be used 
in Ch for regular expression pattern matching.

Ch is an embeddable C/C++ interpreter for cross platform 
scripting, 2D/3D plotting, numerical computing and 
embedded scripting.  More information about Ch can be

System Requirement:

(1) Ch Standard or Professional Edition version 5.0.1.12231 or higher.
    Ch is available from http://www.softintegration.com.
(2) it has been tested and works with libXML2 version 2.6.19. It might
    work with lower versions without guarantee.
(3) the dependant ZLIB and Iconv libraries for XML are also required

Installation Instructions:
--------------------------
(1a) In Windows,  
     Replace ./include/libxml/*.h with the latest header files for LibXML2 
     Replace ./include/iconv/*.h with the latest header files for Iconv 
     Replace ./lib/*.lib with the latest library files files for LibXML2 
        and Iconv 
     Downloaded the Ch Iconv and Ch Zlib source packages and follow the 
        readme file to update and install them. This reduces probable
        incompatabilities.
     If you have the dynamic library for LibXML2, put the *.dll files in
        ./bin/ directory.
      
     You may need to configure _chrc file to include the path for 
     your compiler (VC++.NET or VC++ 6.0). Yan run 'ch -d' to get a copy
     of default _chrc file in your home directory. Then you can
     comment out the settings for the compiler in _chrc file.

     Run command in Ch shell
        make 
        make install

(1b) In Unix, run command 
        make 
        make install

Uninstallation Instructions:
--------------------------
(1) Run command
        make uninstall

Run Demo Programs in Directory CHHOME/package/chlibxml2/demos:
-------------------------------------------------------------
(1) start ch
(2) type program name such as 'parse1.c test1.xml'
