Version 4_1a
-Ported SMAC to the following platforms:
S08R family
S12 (examples for C32)
-Enable SMAC to be ported to Coldfire and DSC
-Corrected a Doze with Timeout bug
Version 4_1
-Changes to SMAC to make it MCU Agnostic and ease the ports to other architectures (including the creation of mcu_spi_config.c and mcu_spi_config.h to hold all the SPI functions)
-Folder Structure changed, in order to ease the distribution and maintenance of the ports of SMAC to other architectures. Thus, the access paths for the projects were also changed.
-Source code standarization. The names of data types, functions and variables were changed.
-The Non volatile memory production data was changed to represent a generic SMAC application, not only the Wireless UART.
-The MC13192 initialization changed to adhere to the mandatory register initialization (MC13192 Reference Manual section 2.2).
-Byte codes filter was added to the transmission and reception. IRQIsr, RAMDrvReadRx and RAMDrvWriteTx in drivers.c were changed. Refer to SMACRM document for further information.
-Addition of 2 new applications: Simple Network (which can be a startup for implementing star networks) and Test Modes app (which is used to evaluate the MC1319x)
SMAC 4.0:
- To support both 3_0 and 3_1 of the MW CW IDE for HC08 the main files have been duplicated and placed into separate folders.
If you are using the Metrowerks Codewarrior Version 3_0 IDE than use the 3_0 ide directory
otherwise if using IDE 3_1 then use IDE 3_1.
- The path to the PRM linker file was sometimes a absolute path. Changed all PRM reference in the
linker control panel for each app and each target to reference the Bootloader linker file
in the {smac}/apps/common/linker files directory. Also, if there is just a filename with
no path in the linker file input box then the access paths are searched. That being the case
the /common/linker file directory was added to the access paths.
- the Select MCU target output libs for the "embedded bootloader" referenced an outdated name. It was changed
to x_loader.lib
- On my development system, S19's and map files were being created but the generate s19 and
map file selector in the Linker options were not selected. Changed all projects to
create a map file (-M) and s19 file (-B). Also, The -EnvSRECORD=S19 was added to ensure
that the srecord extenion was S19.
- Cleaned up the project windows
SMAC libs are now placed in the SMAC group in the Project window
Select MCU target libs are now placed in the Select MCU Target group in the Project window
- Noticed that the Lighting demo on the GB60 needs the J7 jumper on the daughtercard to be in
Position 1-2 for the KBI function to work correctly. This needs to be looked into.
- The bootloader is not loading on some Axiom0308's. Look for further clarifications and corrections in the future.
- Changed the SMAC Group in the master builder projects to "library builds"
SMAC 3_0d:
- added a test outline to show what I have done to test this release.
- added tools folder to SMAC distribution for Bootloader info and S19's.
- Changed the ordering of the LEDs in the Light Demo Application because the LED to Pushbutton
mapping was reversed.
- added Bootloader compatibility (uart runs at 19200) as the Bus clock is halved with Bootloader
Can be changed. See the MC13192FLUG/D for more information.
- added PA control support
- Created 13192EVB targets in all appplications and in the SMAC project as well.
- added another sub-project that includes the correct mcu C file allocation. Allows users to choose
GB60, GT60 from the sub project.
- Moved the IDE 3.1 header file from the <system> folder into the Target Project locally. This
will allow both IDE 3.0 and 3.1 to interoperate. Also added target to all access paths.
- Removed the HW_compatiablility test from the smac. Now the mc13192_init() function returns void.
This was removed since previous version of the RFIC (2.0 and ealier)
had incompatiable SPI port settings. This renders the hardware check unreliable.
The application can check the rfic_version via the smac api.
- updated the SMAC to support the new IDE 3.1 header file definitions.
- Eliminated the BETA label and the 4 from the SMAC title.
- Corrected the MLME_MC13192_PA_output_adjust() function to mask out the correct bits and
apply the requested power 0xXX{REQUESTED_POWER}c for 0-15 values.
- Removed the revision.txt link from in the project.
- Added a target for the I_BOARD in device_header.
- Added the ANTENNA_SWITCH compiler option.
*This added a change to the mcu_hw_config.c (init_gpio) that added init code.
*PLME_set_trx_state_request added the
MC13192_RX_SWITCH = x;
MC13192_TX_SWITCH = x;
Some users were experiencing out of reset lock up issues on the tests. We believe that debounce
on the reset line is causing the mcu and 13192 RFIC to behave in a manner not covered by the SMAC.
This is an attempt to fix that issue.
-Added a delay ~50ms to the mcu_init mcu_hw_config.c out of reset to account for reset debounce */
-Added a check to the IRQ pin that checks 13192 for an ATTN_IRQ. If out of reset the IRQ is asserted but the 13192
status register does not show ATTN_IRQ as the source. Our software will ignore the current IRQ and wait for a true
ATTN_IRQ.
Applications:
PER- For some reason the PER test with the 3.1 IDE broke. It failed when the IDEAL went from TX to RX and DUT went from RX-TX.
The DUT would never get the ack. So it kept sending channel request over and over. This caused the IDEAL to keep
echoing to the UART IDEAL-RX 0 over and over.
The work around that I have found is to disable "TREE" optimizers for each of the PER Projects.
With this feature disabled in the IDE the code executes fine. Does anyone know what tree optimization is?
PER- Renamed the project and folder to highlight this is not a range test because the PER is done at MIN_POWER.
SMAC Beta 4c:
- Added h files back to the SMAC.
- Removed the ARD target from the SMAC 3_0 build
- Removed the 4k projects for PER and lighting since >4k.
- Removed the PER and lighting 4k projects from master build project
SMAC Beta 4a:
- Added new 4k projects for each application to support the Special Edition of the Metrowerks
IDE.
- Added the 4k projects to the "Master" project builder.
SMAC Beta 4:
- Added the LED port directions before all MC13192_init().
- Added the hw compatiablity test to all apps.
- Changed the axiom refences to GB60-EVB
- Changed the output file names to match the app name
for example, PER dut target for GB60 --> per_dut_axiomC.abs
should fix some issues with the code not updating
- Added the PER to the apps and removed the bst tests. Will be put in future release.
- Some apps still used the TARGET as a label fixed that.
- inlcuded "mc13192_hw_config.h" into each application for the MC13192_init() function which
caused all hw to run since the ERROR was not being past back correctly.
- Cleaned out all extra .abs files.
SMAC Beta 2:
-Added smac_{target}_3_0.lib to all smac target builds.
-Added smac_MC13192SARD.lib library for MC13192SARD
-Added MLME_get_rfic_version
returns 3=2.2, 2=2.1, 1=2.0, 0=1.2
-Added PLME_get_rfic_version
MC13192_regs.h
-Added GPIO_CONFIG defintion
-Added GPIO_DATA defintion
-Added GPIO_DATA_MASK definition
Applications:
ALL APPS:
-Added a HW detect feature that checks to see if your SMAC can run on your HW.
SMAC has a SMAC_HW_VERSION bit field that defines which version of smac should run on
what hardware.
For example, If you want smac to run on 2.2 only then HW_version = 8 or 2^3.
If you want smac to run on 2.1 only then HW_version = 4 or 2^2.
If you want smac to run on 2.2 & 2.1 only then HW_version = 12 or 2^3 + 2^2.
The smac MC13192_init checks the version of HW and returns ERROR if the app cannot run.
SUCCESS if it can. If it fails it will flash all 4 leds quickly.
-Put multple Targets into all applications where appropriate.
-Added MASTER Build project to the applications. This project can build all applications
-Moved old apps into "Old files" folder. Remove when released.
PER:
Replace Packet Error Rate with Basic System Tests.mcp
- Does PER
- CW TX
- Toggles Modulation
- Sets a channel
- Sets a power level
etc.
