This allows customers to perform more design runs in a shorter amount of time, resulting in a faster time to market.***** Design Description *****Elevator is a simple 10-floor elevator controller design consisting of a top level module which instantiates four sub-modules comprising four Logic Groups. There are two elevators.  The main elevator car has access to floors 1 through 9.  The express car allows you to access the 10th floor from the 1st floor when the correct security code is entered.  top.v   - The top-level which connects all the logic groups to each other and to the top-level ports.  Contoller.v - Evaluates passenger input and elevator car status to determine needed action for elevator cars.  elevator_car.v - Control module for main elevator car.  express_car.v - Control module for express elevator car.  tracking.v - Module used to store elevator status and maintenance log.   A constraints file top.ucf contains timing constraints, pin locations and area groups for implementation.The project also includes a testbench top_tb.v to show the functionality of the design.Target Device: (5VLX30 FF324 -3)CONTROLS Inputs:  clk   - System clock for the Elevator design.  reset - Sets the Elevator cars to a know position/status representing the power-on           state of the Elevator.  data_enable - Controls reading of Maintenance log by elevator maintenance worker  write_enable - Controls writing to Maintenance log by elevator maintenance worker  main_external_requests  - 9 bit signal indicating a request from one of the nine                             floors to have the elevator come to that floor to pick                             up a passenger  exp_request_up - Outside request to go up in the Express car  exp_request_down - Outside request to go down in the Express car.  main_sensor_trip - Trip signal indicating that the Elevator is "stuck", issued by                      passenger inside main car  main_internal_requests - 9 bit signal indicating requested floor from inside the main elevator car.  main_temp - 8 bit signal representing the temperature in the main car  exp_update_enable - enables updating or changing the security code for the express car  exp_input_code  - 14 bit signal this is the security code that must be entered in the                     express car to access the 10th floor  exp_temp - 8 bit signal representing the temperature in the express carOutputs:  maintenance_alarm - Signal indicating that the maintenance alarm has been triggered                      This indicates that the elevator is too hot, too cold or stuck  exp_floor_disp  - 14 bit signal use to indicate the current floor of the express elevator                    on two 7-seg LED displays  exp_move_up     - Signal asserted when Express Car is moving up  exp_move_down   - Signal asserted when Express Car is moving down   main_floor_disp - 14 bit signal use to indicate the current floor of the main elevator                     on two 7-seg LED displays.  main_move_up    - Signal asserted when main Car is moving up  main_move_down  - Signal asserted when main Car is moving down Bi-directional:  maint_data  - 8 bit signal for data input and extraction from maintenance log______________________________________________________________________________________________* For support information and contacts please visit the Xilinx.com support site at:  http://www.xilinx.com/support            -or-  http://www.xilinx.com/support/services/contact_info.htm* For technical support, please open a WebCase on the Xilinx Support site at:  http://www.xilinx.com/support/clearexpress/websupport.htm
