有一些女性觉得自从做了人流术后性欲下降明显，几乎无性高潮，影响了往日和谐的夫妻生活。那么，人工流产术会不会影响人的性欲呢？其实可以肯定地说：人流手术不会直接导致性欲下降。出现她们所谓的性欲下降的情况，需要从以下两个方面来分析： <br />
<br />
第一、女性产生性兴奋的部位主要是阴道外1／3处和阴蒂，因为在这两处聚集着许多能接受性刺激的感觉神经末梢。而阴道内2／3和子宫颈、子宫体感觉神经末梢要少得多，尤其是子宫颈，连痛觉都不敏感。所以，在进行人工流产手术时，用宫颈钳夹子宫颈，不会感到疼痛，也不会影响日后的性感觉。阴道是一个极富伸展性的肌性管道，可使热水瓶大小的胎儿娩出。所以，做人工流产时用以扩张阴道的小小窥阴器自然是不会损伤阴道的。如果说人工流产过程中也会产生痛苦体验的话，那只能是子宫以及韧带被牵拉和对胚胎组织的钳吸所造成的。由此可见，人工流产手术不会损伤性兴奋产生部位的神经组织，故而也就不会直接导致性欲下降。 <br />
<br />
第二、和男子一样，女性的性反应周期有兴奋期、持续期、高潮期和消退期，然而女性的性反应特点却与男性截然不同，兴奋期需要一个较长时间的性诱导过程。如果丈夫能辅以温柔的爱抚、拥吻，刺激女性的性敏感部位，则可有效地调动其性兴奋，使其很快进入持续期和高潮期。现在大多数女性做的都是无痛人流，而有一部分女性选择的是普通的人流，所以对对术中的痛苦体验、恐惧感印象深刻，担心再次怀孕而无法全身心投入，都会压抑性兴奋的产生，从而在心理上形成了一道屏障，生活中也就表现出性欲下降。 <br />
<br />
所以，如果人流术后出现短暂的性欲下降，做丈夫的就应该予以体贴、安抚，过一段时间就会好的，千万不要责怪、嘲笑她，加重妻子的心理负担，从而使妻子因为精神因素而致性恐惧和性冷淡，这样就会比较严重。
