PROBLEM STATEMENT
Implement a ZFE as per the specification given below.
The channel is in the form of a first order LPF. (of the form exp(-t/tao))
Use rectangular pulse. (Consider transmission of 100 bits, in polar NRZ
form)
Perform the following tasks: Create received signal with ISI
Add noise of the specified level
Plot eye diagram
Compute number of bit errors
Chose a ZFE of suitable length and compute the equalizer’s weight
Process the received signal with the ZF equalizer
Plot Eye diagram of equalized signal
Compute number of bit errors after equalization.
