hidefile

One can enumerate filenames in the HIDEFILE environment variable separated
by the `/' character. Hidefile will hide these entries from directory
listings. These files still remain accessible.

Usage example:
HIDEFILE='.svn/CVS/.cvsignore' hidefile mc
