<h1>Configurations for MIDP development overview</h1>

<p>You can work more efficiently by creating an IDE where you can develop 
 a MIDlet in an application and directly test it on the SDK. Some applications 
 automatically detect the SDK as a device. You need to configure other 
 applications to recognize the SDK before you can start the SDK from within 
 the application抯 interface. </p>
