Our licensing is pretty straight forward.  A seat is required for every workstation requiring a copy of Code Co-op for making changes to projects.  The exception to this is when one workstation requires more than one enlistment in a project.  In this case, an additional seat is required for each additional enlistment. <b>Project observers don't pay a thing. </b>People wanting to observe the progress of a project, yet not make any changes to it, can join as an Observer for no charge.  An Observer enlistment can be changed to a voting member at anytime as long as seats are available on their Code Co-op license.

<p class="heading">Upgrading to version 3.0
<hr>
If you are a registered user wanting to upgrade to v3.0 there is a one time upgrade fee of <b>$45 per seat</b>. Please note that <b>your entire project team needs to upgrade</b> to version 3.0.  The project database changed in version 3.0 which makes it incompatible with previous versions. 

<p>Newly licensed users that purchased Code Co-op v2.15 AFTER October 1st, 2000 will receive the upgrade to v3.0 for FREE.
<p>
Our upgrade policy is to continue to provide minor upgrades for free to registered users.  A minor upgrade is when the version number changes only a little like from v2.15 to v2.4.  When the incremental change is greater than .5, there may be an upgrade charge.
