<H2>Color conventions for the FDC toolbox</H2>
In the blockdiagrams from the FDC toolbox, all 'normal' function blocks have standard colors: black foreground, white background, no shadows. Shadows have been used for <I><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial","Helvetica","Sans Serif">Inports</FONT></I> and <I><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial","Helvetica","Sans Serif">Outports</FONT></I> (which makes it easier to distinguish them from <I><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial","Helvetica","Sans Serif">Constant</FONT></I> blocks) and for 'Button'-blocks, which start M<SMALL>ATLAB</SMALL> programs or execute M<SMALL>ATLAB</SMALL> commands when being double-clicked. The artificial feedback loops from the system <I><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial","Helvetica","Sans Serif"><A HREF="beaver.htm">Beaver</A></FONT></I>, including the masked subsystem <I><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial","Helvetica","Sans Serif"><A HREF="hlpfcn.htm">Hlpfcn</A></FONT></I>, are magenta, in order to distinguish these signals from the external inputs and outputs which enter the system <I><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial","Helvetica","Sans Serif">Beaver</FONT></I> by means of <I><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial","Helvetica","Sans Serif">Inport</FONT></I> blocks. Title blocks on the upper left side of the (sub-)systems use a blue foreground on a white background. The title-blocks that will display help texts when being double-clicked are distinguished by their shadows.
