</H2>

<I><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial","Helvetica","Sans Serif">Accel</FONT></I> is a masked S<SMALL>IMULINK</SMALL> subsystem, used to compute the specific forces and accelerations of the aircraft, as measured in the aircraft's centre of gravity. The block <I><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial","Helvetica","Sans Serif">Accel</FONT></I> is contained in the subsystem <I><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial","Helvetica","Sans Serif"><A HREF="moreouts.htm">Additional Outputs</A></FONT></I> of the system <I><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial","Helvetica","Sans Serif"><A HREF="beaver.htm">Beaver</A></FONT></I>. The outputs from <I><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial","Helvetica","Sans Serif">Accel</FONT></I> are not needed to solve the state equations. Hence, <I><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial","Helvetica","Sans Serif">Accel</FONT></I> can be removed from the system <I><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial","Helvetica","Sans Serif">Beaver</FONT></I> without affecting the solution of the state equations.

<LI><I>GM1</I>: vector with some important geometrical properties of the         'Beaver' aircraft, and the mass of the aircraft (which is assumed to be constant during the motions of interest). Here, the mass <I>m</I> is extracted from the vector <I>GM1</I>. The vector <I>GM1</I> can be loaded from file by calling <I><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial","Helvetica","Sans Serif"><A HREF="loader.htm">LOADER</A></FONT></I>. If the datafile does not yet exist, run <I><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial","Helvetica","Sans Serif"><A HREF="MODBUILD.htm">modbuild</A></FONT></I> first.
