The sublibrary <I><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial","Helvetica","Sans Serif">ILS</FONT></I> of the library <I><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial","Helvetica","Sans Serif"><A HREF="navlib.htm">NAVLIB</A></FONT></I> contains two different masked subsystem blocks which implement localizer noise signals: <I><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial","Helvetica","Sans Serif">LOCnoise1</FONT></I> and <I><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial","Helvetica","Sans Serif">LOCnoise2</FONT></I>. This block generates localizer noise according to AGARD R-632 (<A HREF="#References">ref.[3]</A>), assuming a constant approach speed. The user must specify the scale length <I>L<SUB>loc</SUB></I> (typically 130 <I>m</I>), the standard deviation <I>sigma_loc</I> (usually <= 15 micro-Ampere), and the approach speed <I>V</I>.

This block uses a localizer noise filter according to NASA CR-2022 (<A HREF="#References">ref.[4]</A>). The user doesn't have to specify any parameters.
