For UNIX-like environment;

1. To install and configure
* cd setup
* and run ./configure

options:
--enable-mode=esg for ESG access
--enable-mode=gsiftp for GridFTP access
--enable-mode=all for all access, by default

2. if necessary,
modify $DML_HOME/conf/config.xml for proper entries

3. run commands
* execute dml-gui for display
* execute dml for command line

For Windows environment;

1. to install and configure
* make sure java is installed.
* if necessary when java is not in the %PATH%,

modify bin/win-dml.bat  and bin/win-dml-cmd.bat
to include similar full path of the following:

set JAVA_PATH=C:\Program Files\java\jdk1.5.0_11\bin\java
set DML_HOME=C:\DML

2. copy config-sample-win.xml config.xml
modify config.xml for proper entries

3. run commands
* execute win-dml.bat for display that contains all
* execute win-dml-esg.bat for ESG display
* execute win-dml-gsiftp.bat for GridFTP display
* execute win-dml-cmd.bat for command line
