由于 EJB 技术，我开始使用 XDoclet。它使我能够把我的 EJB 组件移植到许多 J2EE 应用程序服务器。这对于 CMP 尤为重要，因为 XDoclet 生成供应商特有的从 CMP/CMR 到 RDBMS 的映射。我用 Jython 编写了自己的 EJB 代码生成器，但是我的同伴 Erik Hatcher 不断地告诉我 XDoclet 的优点直至最后我被说服并尝试它。</p>
<p>
XDoclet 不仅仅可以简化 EJB 组件的移植，它还大大简化了 EJB 开发。为什么？现在，您不必再把 5（或更多）个文件用于一个 EJB 组件，您只需使用一个源文件。这将使任何 EJB 开发者成为 XDoclet 的支持者。</p>
<p>
想一想。现在，您不必再维护主键类、本地和远程接口、本地和远程 home、值类、部署描述符、多个供应商特有的部署描述符等等；我只需维护一个文件。我只使用 JavaDoc 标记来标记我的实现类，XDoclet 负责其余的事情。这不仅仅是酷。这简化了 EJB 技术的使用。这有助于实现组件体系结构的设想。</p>
<p>
一些供应商已开始在 J2EE 应用程序服务器（JRun）附带的工具中支持 XDoclet。希望这将成为潮流。我很高兴地看到 IBM 和 BEA 的产品中附带了 XDoclet 支持。目前，供应商特有的 XDoclet 模板比发行版晚几个月。不要为催促它们而烦恼。XDoclet 开发者将对您说：您亲自实现它们。别忘了，XDoclet 是开放式源代码。实际上，模板是很容易修改的，也许在下一个教程中，我将把 CMP/CMR 支持添加到某个供应商产品中。</p>
<p>
请注意，EJB 的初学者可以看看参考资料部分中列出的许多参考资料，这将有助于您更好地理解这部分。但是，这部分假设您有一些使用 EJB 技术的经验。</p>
