<P class=dt><I>nMinBufLengthInBytes. </I>
The minimum size of the
binary data buffer in bytes.</P>
<h3>Return value</h3>
<P>A pointer to the binary data contained in
the <STRONG>SAString</STRONG>
object.</P>
<h3>Remarks</h3>
<P><STRONG>GetBinaryBuffer</STRONG> method was implemented specially for
working with binary data. This method is specially usefull for
Unicode build (SA_UNICODE is defined) where character size is not
equal to one byte. For non-Unicode build (default, SA_UNICODE is not
defined) <STRONG>GetBinaryBuffer</STRONG>
behaves identically to <A href="String_GetBuffer.html" >GetBuffer</A>,
except it casts the result to <STRONG>void*</STRONG>. </P>
<P>If you use the pointer returned by <B>GetBinaryBuffer</B>
to change the
string contents, you must call <A
href="String_ReleaseBinaryBuffer.html">ReleaseBinaryBuffer</A>
before using any
other <B>SAString</B>
member functions. </P>
<P>The buffer memory will be freed automatically when the
<B>SAString</B>
object is destroyed. </P>
